Our company metanoy is important to us, we didn't just found it. It was much more than that: ideas and visions became reality. We have given a lot of thought, planned, talked - we have worked out values. We are particularly proud of these values, we always uphold them and select our employees in such a way that they respect our maxims and can identify with them. As soon as they act as metanoy employees, these values are always adhered to. We have already introduced you to remote in previous blog posts - now we come to the second value of our metanoy philosophy: specific.

specific - what exactly does that mean?

For us, it means finding an customized solution. There is no fixed blueprint; we look at many aspects of our customers, such as the infrastructure, the IT strategy and the system landscape. So before a decision can be made on what the digital transformation could look like, we carry out an initial analysis and evaluate the customer's current IT. So we don't just go down the path of a new solution with specific, rather we look for a sensible, benefit-oriented use of the existing possibilities. Together with the customer, metanoy combines the resources that add value and replaces those that are necessary. The result is a specific solution that meets the customer's requirements, enables long-term growth and fulfills the IT guidelines of maintenance, portability, flexibility and security.

How does this work in practice?

We support our customers on the path to digitalization or digital transformation. We help with system conversions, select the right tools and help managers and employees to use and implement them correctly. This can also be done with existing tools. However, if it is not so “simple” and the right tool is missing, we can still help. We have the opportunity to specialize in specific needs. The aim is to fulfill the customer's wishes with a long-lasting, sustainable IT solution. Simple maintenance, low operating costs, high integration into the existing infrastructure and system landscape are our focal points. We use the existing IT to be cost-efficient on the one hand and to create a homogeneous system landscape in the long term on the other. In this way, we create a “specific” result and ensure complete customer satisfaction.

Every employee is called upon and challenged. At metanoy, we firmly believe that teamwork is better. We are always in touch with each other and well networked - including with our customers. Everyone in our company is "specific" - has their own focus and expertise. By creating a diverse team, we bring our experts together to constructively develop successful solutions.

Developing and implementing specific approaches requires courage on both sides. The client makes an upfront payment and entrusts us with their project, which means incurring costs and initiating radical change. Employees have to adapt, learn new things and possibly give up, or at least change, long-standing habits. We help with tailored training and support the transition. In this way, we can take people with us on the journey and leave no one behind. We have the confidence to design and create something that is often complex and a little more tedious in the beginning, but it is a rewarding process that brings enormous benefits in the long run.

How do we achieve this?

We are constantly expanding our network to provide the best possible service to our clients. Thanks to our flat hierarchies, we always meet at eye level, so that all decisions for or against a solution approach are based on the respective expertise. In this way, we find the way forward that meets our customers' needs while allowing for long-term growth.

Internally, we aim to motivate and inspire our employees, helping them to fulfil themselves and develop their talents. In practice, this means enabling and funding training for everyone. Because in today's fast-moving IT world, things are always changing - new technologies, new services or changing licence models. We have to keep an eye on all this to find a solution to a challenge that is economical, fast and flexible - in other words, tailored. Or as we say: "specific". Even if it is "only" a good redesign of the existing IT elements.

We always remain curious. Trying things out. Questioning and understanding why some IT structures are the way they are. We build solutions that inspire because they add value.
